Right, I worked on this initial pattern team and that was our goal for having the “Additional fields” design. This could include things like Domain selection or Location as we saw when we reviewed oVirt. I do agree with Kyle that the use of multiple languages with the application after logging in might need to be a pattern in itself, but the login piece is meant to be supported by just adding an additional field.
