Let me rephrase my position to avoid needless debate.

This functionality will not be considered for inclusion in Publican 
until it has been signed of by translation leadership.

At such time as translation leadership has signed off then the 
development team will look in to the how and when of implementing it.

FWIW translation leadership are almost never active on this list, so you 
might want to grab a blunt implement and go for a walk.
