[Pulp-dev] Some upcoming minor pull requests

Dear pulp devs,

Thank you very much for your efforts in developing and maintaining `pulp`.

I am about to send some PRs on github, two for `pulp` and two for
`pulp_rpm`. I would like to announce the pull requests here, so that I
do not have to repeat the background with each PR.

For the background: The patches are all ports to pulp 2.x from some
older (1.x-based!) patches. I just cared for the 1.x->2.x port of the
patches (not the original 1.x patches) and was asked to create pull
requests out of them. That's what I will do.

All patches are based on the 2.9-dev branch.

As this is my first time with `pulp`, I certainly misunderstood many
things and there are certainly lots of things in the patches to do
better (or not at all). I am willing to learn and will appreciate any
feedback.

Thanks,
