Has anyone run the QE build with pulp-admin/pulp-client on a different
machine than the server?

Take a look at the following bug I just filed:

In short, it doesn't look like the CLI is using the host parameter of
the client.conf. I worry that means it's defaulting internally to
localhost somewhere and not telling the user. So it appears to use host
but isn't really.
