Please try to avoid making any changes to this for the next day or so.
I'm refactoring it so I can add unit tests and the necessary changes to
allow the hostname(s) to come from the server.

If you do need to change it for some reason, please let me know. There's
no way git will resolve the diff correctly for me and I don't want to
lose any new changes while I'm doing this.

I'll fire off another e-mail when my changes are in.
