APC Backup

I have an APC back-up system (BE-350U) It's USB when talking to 
the computer.  APC doesn't have any USB software written for 
Linux.  Anyone know of a solution?

BTW I'm running RH 9.0

PS noticed today that Google mail is going to ad POP3 servers to 
it's email.
