investigating frequent crashes

I have 3 RH 9 boxes.  I one them crashes with about the same weekly
frequency that you describe.  I turned off all the fancy screensavers
and the problem seemed to likewise cease (I had been using all the
provided screensavers in random mode).  I need to go back and figure out
which one is the culprit (somehow).  Funny that the other two systems
are not similarly affected (different video cards??).  Maybe you could
investigate the same thing.
