nousb doesn't work !

I'm pulling my hair out trying to get an HP Netserver LH3 (PII-450 Mhz)
running AGAIN with RH9. I had it loaded previously with RH9 and after first
hand experience I had to learn about the "linux nousb" install..... We had
to Re-load RH9 from scratch (new install)....The nousb doesn't take or work,
re-boot hangs on usb-uhci detection...did this 3-4 times with the same
result !..... Any help !!...I'm sure I'll get it here...probably something
stupid !
