Karl,

Thank you very much for the reply.  The non-Phoenix
BIOS have BIOS setting to redirect the console and we
have tried both to turn on and off the feature in
Phoenix BIOS.   Unfortunately, that does seen to help
at all.

Try modifing the grub.conf file and at the end of the kernel line append
with the following information:

console=ttyS0 console=tty0

This should help you as long as your console are at 0
