nmbd restart by cron.daily?

Good evening everybody,

some time I'm wondering about my redhat-el4 fileserver and a behaviour it shows every night at 4. it seems like it's restarting my samba daemons - but i can't find any reason(just the usual suspects like logrotate etc) in the cron.daily that could result in restarting the dancers. just to satisfy my curiosity - does anybody of you know, why this is happening?

PS: btw, why does rh not update to smb 3.0.20 ?
