Upgrade RHEL3 to RHEL4, upgrade or clean install?

You should have no problem to upgrade from even Red Hat 2.1 to Red Hat
4.0. That's one of the reason to use RHN. Only thing you should always
watch for application compatibility. It is good idea to check with
application vendor before upgrading.
