Heh - I wish I'd seen this in the wee hours while I was attacking the 
adapter. I wound up breaking a wire trying to pull it out.

I'm looking at http://goldfndr.home.mindspring.com/digitraveler.html - 
it appears to call out the correct pins... can you confirm that, Bill?

I bought this rj11 cable: http://www.frys.com/product/3550704. I also 
bought a couple of the adapters. I'll break out a paper clip as well.  :-)
