I have two machines running RHEL3-U5. Both are dual Opteron, running
64 bit. Both are entitles. One is WS and one is ES. Both behave identically
with respect to the information below.
When I run up2date, it tells me there are three packages for upgrading.
[root at cm up2date]# up2date --list

openoffice.org-libs 1.1.2 24.2.0.EL3 i386
when I try to update these I get the following:
Testing package set / solving RPM inter-dependencies...

If I do an rpm -qa, I see that every one of these "packages added to your
selection" is already installed, with an exact version and release match
to the above list reported by up2date.
I did an up2date -p to re-synchronize, but it made no difference. What gives?
What do I do to get past this problem?
thanks,
-chuck
