[rhn-users] up2date --config fails with wrong architecture

Trying to register a system with rhn.
It is RHEL 3 (WS) running on a Xeon EM64T (x86_64) processor.

Whenever I try to register the system, it registers but claims
it is an "ia32e" architecture which is invalid for the subscribtion.
Thus it will not assign any channel to the registered system.

Where is it picking up the incorrect architecture?
How is it remedied?
