[rhn-users] Samba Problem - Accessing Mounted Windows 2003 Shares

I'm having trouble accessing smbfs mounts from a Windows 2003 server.
The shares seem to mount but I'm getting permissions and an odd Stale
NFS file handle error when I try to list or access them. I'm running
RHEL 3 release 6 with samba 3.0.9-1.3E.5

mount -t smbfs -o username=user,password=password
//windowsserver/web_backup /mnt/web_backup

[root at linuxserver /]# mount -l
//windowsserver/web_test on /mnt/web_backup type smbfs (0)

[root at linuxserver /]# ls -la /mnt/web_backup
ls: /mnt/web_backup: Permission denied

[root at linuxserver /]# cd /mnt
[root at linuxserver mnt]# ls -la
ls: web_backup: Permission denied

[root at linuxserver /]# cd /mnt/web_backup
[root at linuxserver web_backup]# ls
ls: .: Stale NFS file handle

I'm getting some hints in /var/log/messages
