I had same compile problem for RHEL WS 4.1
I downloaded kernel 2.6.10 and was able to compile on this kernel. RedHat support stated that iSCSI driver will come with RHEL 4 update 2.

Subject: [rhn-users] RHES 4.1 and iSCSI
Components:
- IBM x306 w/Broadcom Netxtreme Gigabit card + 2 internal GB NIC's
RHES 4.1 fully patched
- IBM TotalStorage DS300 2RD Disk Array with iSCSI interfaces (not fiber
channel)
Problem is that apparently RHES 4.1 doesn't come with iSCSI support. Was
there in v3. The NIC's work fine for ethernet so their drivers are
happy.
Apparently I need a driver for the iSCSI protocol. Found one on
SourceForge, but can't get it to compile.
Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks,
Marty
