There is a third option. I've written a tool Yam that has RHN support. It
uses up2date to download updates and provides them in a local repository
for other systems. You can find the tool at:
http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/yam/
You can then use apt or yum (or up2date) to update your servers from this
local repository.
