[rhn-users] how to recover root password

Boot into "single user" mode.  When the the bootloader (GRUB) menu comes up
select the kernel you are using, edit the arguments and add single to the end.
It should boot straight to a prompt.  You can then run the passwd command:
passwd root.

Then exit.  It should continue to load normally.
