[rhn-users] Dual-Boot issue w/ Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 WS and Windows XP Professional x64

Good question, I suppose it depends on where you told grub to
load.  If grub is loaded on the mbr of the windows drive then
you have a problem.  If it is loaded on the linux drive you
should be ok.  I generally put linux on the 1st hd and windows
on the 2nd.  This way windows can operate on its own b/c it is
so picky.  If you want to switch to this way I think you would
have to load grub onto the linux mbr and make sure windows
fixes its own mbr as well (if you use the cd to enter the
rescue mode I think the "fix boot" command will put the mbr
back to normal.  

Then in the menu.lst I  put:
Windows
root (hdx,y)
map (hd0) (hd1)
map (hd1) (hd0)
chainloader (hd1,0)+1
