Hi,

My name is Rajan Mithani

you can do one thing ...

1st take a system where u have CD Drive. installed

then check that system if 4-5 GB of data free..

copy the !st CD folder in the /var/pub/ directory

copy all SRPMS of all the other cd of RHEL in SRPMS directory inside
/var/pub...../SRPMS

then go to /etc/exports
write
/var/pub/ *(ro,sync)

then :wq (for save and exit)

give these commands

service portmap restart
service nfs restart

also check out Kickstart
Kickstart wil give u the packages to be installed in ur system.

now u can hav a network installation

go to the system where u wann to install

insert the disk1
thn write

linuxks:nfs:192.168.10.2(nfs server ip)/var/ftp/pub/.... <somefilename>.ks

that woud b ur kickstart file.

you woul have successful installation.

Thanking you

Rajan Mithani
RHCE.
