I'm having trouble importing this key, running up2date, and rebuilding
rpm database:

Has someone seen this before?

[root at aaews2872jamesk][15:26:26][~]$ up2date

Your GPG keyring does not contain the Red Hat, Inc. public key.

Without it, you will be unable to verify that packages Update Agent
downloads

are securely signed by Red Hat.

Your Update Agent options specify that you want to use GPG.

To install the key, run the following as root:

     rpm --import /usr/share/rhn/RPM-GPG-KEY

[root at aaews2872jamesk][15:26:28][~]$ rpm --import
/usr/share/rhn/RPM-GPG-KEY

rpmdb: PANIC: fatal region error detected; run recovery

error: db4 error(-30978) from dbenv->open: DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error,
run database recovery

error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - (-30978)

error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm

error: /usr/share/rhn/RPM-GPG-KEY: import failed.

[root at aaews2872jamesk][15:26:47][~]$ rpm --rebuilddb

rpmdb: PANIC: fatal region error detected; run recovery

error: db4 error(-30978) from dbenv->open: DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error,
run database recovery

error: cannot open Packages index

thanks
