Ensure you have installed, and are running, OSAD and
rhn-virtualization-host on the Dom0.
Then do an rhn_check and rhn-sync-profile.

After this, register DomU's as normal and they should come up on RHN as
virtualized.

Subject: [rhn-users] xen guest software channel entitlement allocation

Hi folks -

After provisioning a few xen guests, I've suddenly run out of software
channel entitlements. Looking at RHN it looks like each xen guest is
using a "real" software channel entitlement whenever I register them
using rhnregister_ks. I was under the impression that a dom0 with the
virtualization entitlement could host up to 4 guests without using
additional entitlements. I've reset (deleted and killed
/etc/sysconfig/rhn/system_id) on both the dom0 and the guest and after I
register the dom0, when I try to register the guest it keeps trying to
take up a software channel entitlement that it shouldn't be asking for.
The guest has rhn-virtualization-common-1.0.1-53 installed and the host
has both that and rhn-virtualization-host-1.0.1-53 installed.

How do I fix this?
