To enable monitoring:
Satellite Tools -> Satellite Configuration -> General -> Enable Monitoring
Restart spacewalk
Then you probably want to enable Monitoring Scout too:
Satellite Tools -> Satellite Configuration -> Monitoring -> Enable 
Monitoring Scout

Your setup do not affect monitoring.
