[Spacewalk-list] monitoring how-to?

I couldn't find a good how-to for setting up monitoring.  I'm running spacewalk 0.3 on CentOS 5.2 with CentOS 5.2 i386 clients.
After looking through the archives, it appears I'm not the only one having trouble getting it working.

Is monitoring working under 0.3, but requires some manual tweaking?  It's not clear from the messages that I have read in the archives.

Anyone have any suggestions and/or tips on setting up monitoring ?
