hello,
i stopped and start my oracle database:
i st[root at mirr ~]# /etc/init.d/oracle-xe stop
Shutting down Oracle Database 10g Express Edition Instance.
Stopping Oracle Net Listener.
[root at mirr ~]# /etc/init.d/oracle-xe start
Starting Oracle Net Listener.
Starting Oracle Database 10g Express Edition Instance.
check ora /listener
[root at mirr ~]# ps -ef | grep ora
