Well, the correct setup is
[root at test-05 ~]# ll /etc/rhn/ -d
drwxr-x---. 4 root apache 4096 Jan 10 03:05 /etc/rhn/
[root at test-05 ~]# ll /etc/rhn/rhn.conf
-rw-r-----. 1 root apache 2790 Jan 9 10:35 /etc/rhn/rhn.conf
[root at test-05 ~]# id tomcat
uid=91(tomcat) gid=91(tomcat) groups=91(tomcat),48(apache)
Tomcat is added to apache group by spacewalk-setup so it looks like your
setup went wrong. Please check logs.
