You can check your files

/usr/share/rhn/config-defaults/rhn_taskomatic_daemon.conf

# Initial Java Heap Size (in MB)
wrapper.java.initmemory=256

# Maximum Java Heap Size (in MB)
wrapper.java.maxmemory=1024
###

and /etc/tomcat6/tomcat6.conf

###
Looking for JAVA_OPTS and add a flag and increase the -Xmx to a higher
value such as 512MB
###

Restart your spacewalk and try again., probably your channels will be
created normally without error in log file.
