Do not modify /usr/share/rhn/config-defaults/rhn_taskomatic_daemon.conf
otherwise your modifications will vanish in the next spacewalk-java update.
Use 
        taskomatic.java.initmemory=256
and/or
        taskomatic.java.maxmemory=1024
options in /etc/rhn/rhn.conf and similarly
        rhn-search.java.*=XXX
for rhn-search service.
