Try uninstalling osad, deleting all osad related config files, then
re-installing osad.

I've had to resort to this a few times when it just refuses to connect.

I have already done this. I copied the SSL certificate of the spacewalk
server from /var/www/html/pub/RHN-ORG-TRUSTED-SSL-CERT to /usr/share/rhn
of the spacewalk client. After that I did a restart of the jabberd and
osa-dispatcher in the spacewalk server and osad in the spacewalk client.
Still the same error.

connected. I'm having trouble on my Satellite estate at the moment,
despite imlpementing the advice here. Under investigation at the

		I am having the following problem with my Spacewalk
client. Whenever I restart the osad service, I get this:

		Shutting down osad:
[  OK  ]
		Starting osad: Not able to reconnect
		Traceback (most recent call last):
		  File "/usr/share/rhn/osad/jabber_lib.py", line 252, in
setup_connection
		    c = self._get_jabber_client(js)
		  File "/usr/share/rhn/osad/jabber_lib.py", line 309, in
_get_jabber_client
		    c.connect()
		  File "/usr/share/rhn/osad/jabber_lib.py", line 593, in
connect
		    raise SSLDisabledError
		SSLDisabledError

[  OK  ]

		Where should I look to debug ? Why is the
SSLDisabledError ? Will I not be able to push updates to this client ?

		Regards,
		Amit.

				I'm having issues with a few of my RHEL
6 servers. Some work, some don't, some reporting to the same proxy work
but 3 don't.  OSAD is started, when I run osad -N -v -v -v -v it checks
in and gets the tasks I have for it. When I do an rhn_check it works as
well. However, it doesn't actually check in by itself (I gave it an
hour to check in and it didn't). Any idea as to why these 3 servers
aren't checking in automatically when OSAD is running and can
communicate with the proxy server?
