You are welcome! There's a fix from my colleague Michael on the pipeline for the next Spacewalk version as well:

https://github.com/spacewalkproject/spacewalk/pull/272

So starting from Spacewalk 2.4 (or Nightly, or SUSE Manager :-) this will be detected and fixed automatically.
