Recently used https://github.com/angrox/spacewalk-api-scripts/tree/master/spacewalk-remove-old-packages to remove around 5000 packages not in channels. Worked well.

I tried using spacecmd package_remove <package_name> which I am getting from package_listorphans. When I try this, I just get back an error, ERROR: Failed to remove package ID 126826

I'm using the script found here, and it also works very well: http://markmail.org/message/b4fgwi72jhdi7fen. I also run "spacewalk-data-fsck -v -r -S -C -O" periodically.
