Hi Steve,
I didnt had your specific issue but I learned that if java is low on memory it could create strange behavior with no traces in the log files.
May increase java heap size in /etc/sysconfig/tomcat6 of tomcat and try agin.
I hope that helps
Michael

Subject: [Spacewalk-list] spacewalk-repo-sync not importing packages
It appears spacewalk-repo-sync broke on me. It will not import packages to the DB and it will not link packages.
It will either hang here if there are new packages:
05:20:13 Importing packages to DB:
Or it will hang here if there are packages to sync:
05:23:24 Linking packages to the channel.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Steve
