[Spacewalk-list] Centos 7 Systems Not Checking In

The rhnsd.timer was the culprit.  My question is why was this not a step in the Spacewalk installation steps?  Does it just need to be updated?

Check that 'rhn_check' runs without error.  The system should show as active again in Spacewalk after the execution of it.  Pick up any waiting events, etc.

Next verify rhnsd.timer is enabled (systemctl status rhnsd.timer).  This is likely the culprit, IMHO.

Beyond those, you are looking for sometime that is blocking the communication (ie. firewall, routing, etc.)

I have a handful of Centos 7 systems that are not checking in to Spacewalk.  I can execute 'yum update' without any issues.  I have other Centos 7 systems which check in without issues.  I'm stuck and looking for any insight from the community.  Are there any logs I can look at?  Any particular services I need to make sure are running?  I am currently running Spacewalk 2.9.
