Beside a modified clover image built to lower bus speed in the vm, it's a standard installation of a hackintosh thus also amd are available but it's more difficult. This thread helps

I had a virtual Yosemite mac before not accelerated and used for generating a clover virtual hard disk with efi partition and library. Attached to a vm with an el capitan image( generated from a real mac on usb and converted to image with Dd), used smbios 2,1 for installation and nv_disabled=1 for boot. Installed, installed nvidia web driver and switched to imac14,1 with nvda_drv=1.
Usb passthrough working for mouse keyboard and usb audio. Working in hdmi audio... Dual monitor working with access to App Store without problem.

Later will post complete walk through with my qemu command line. Actually at work

Hmm, I noticed that iMac14,1 was on Haswell platform. What is your CPU and -cpu? Does that mean we can passthrough the CPU as well? (-cpu host, my CPU is a Haswell 4770)
