I have same motherboard and same hardware passed. (GPU, ssd internal nic
 USB3 controller + a sound card on pcie x1 slot.)


And yes you need acs patch. The SSD is on the same group as the pcie ports.

The rebuild process on debian is quite simple. I never use ubuntu.

It's a bit troublesome because I did not expect the SSD to break my
setup, although in hindsight it makes sense at it is a pcie device :(
But I did not find a lot of hits when googling for "vfio and nvme"...
