Bug ID: 1035095
Summary: Reference translation feature truncates the text
Product: Zanata
Version: development
Component: Usability
Severity: high
Assignee: zanata-dev-internal at redhat.com
Reporter: djansen at redhat.com
QA Contact: zanata-qa at redhat.com
CC: zanata-bugs at redhat.com
Description of problem:
The "Show reference translations from <language>" feature is truncated at one
line, rendering the feature all but useless for multiline translations.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
dev
How reproducible:
Easy, always
Steps to Reproduce:
Preconditions: A project exists, with at least one source document and
translation for one entry that covers multiple lines
1. Sign in as admin
2. Go to the project document as indicated, start translating
3. Open the right sidebar menu on the settings tab
4. Select the translated language from "Show reference translations from"
option
5. Click on the text entry to translate
Actual results:
A truncated entry, with no way of viewing it, e.g.
"In Polish: This translation is rejected. Fedora is an open, innovative,
forward looking operating system and platform, base..."
Clicking on this text has no result
Expected results:
Clicking expands the text
Additional info:
If I use the mouse to select the chunk of text down to the comments section,
then middle click to paste elsewhere, it appears the whole text is copied. This
indicates the whole reference translation is there, but not visible.
