Sound in Debian Woody - how to get without kernel recompile

Hi!

   Thanks for replies! This is quite srange: even if apt-file tells sb.o is 
in 2.2.20-idepci  that nor any sound modules could be found uder 
/lib/modules/2.2.20-idepci

   I solved problem finally conpiling newer kerlnel, 2.4.18 and  make  it 
as a kernel package so there is no need to compile kernel for every 
computer.
