[Linux for blind general discussion]

Huh, guess even a company with a decades long history of pissing off
their customers and getting away with it can turn over a new leaf...
*Consults Wikipedia.* Huh, didn't realize Win10 was already four years
old, seems like it wasn't that long ago that everyone was complaining
about Microsoft trying to force update all the Win7 and Win8 machines
to 10 and bricking most of them in the process. Admittedly, the last
time I ran Windows on my own machines for longer than it took to
download and burn an iso to replace Windows with Linux was back in the
XP days, and the last time I used Windows long enough to download and
burn an iso was on a Win7 machine prior to going blind(naturally, I've
used Winodws on school computers since then, but carrying my own
computer was easier than trying to get my uni's Disability services
office to install a screen reader, and my experience with JAWS and
NVDA is wholely though time spent in a Vocational Rehab for the Blind
program).
