One of the peculiar things about the way the Fediverse is that the timelines are server-bound, rather than topic-bound.  So, if you want to read (and talk) about a given set of topics, it makes sense to get an account on a server where they are discussed.

However, I wasn't able to find a blind-related server that is currently accepting new accounts.  So, it might make sense for blind techies to find and colonize a substantial server that matches their tech interests (eg, mastodon.tech).
