Precision 490 Reboot Hang

Yes, I did and I should have added that the system has an i386 F8
installation so it does look to be an i686 kernel problem. I don't
really want to run an x86_64 kernel on this system as the eventual user
doesn't really have a need for it. I'll update the bug. He also said A04
had the same problem so it would seem A05 probably wouldn't help much.
