Both products are on a life support just not to die until we need them
in the future.
There are some ideas about how they can be useful in conjunction with
IPA but they are a much lower level priority than letting IPA v2 out of
the door.

No development is done at the moment.

You are talking on the right list to change anything about the current
situation.

I think I can dig you the pointer to the source code if you are interested.
As for the plan... Let us release IPA v2 first. Penrose will be very
handy in some use cases but we just do not have resources to invest into
this project at the moment.
Velo is user provisioning. The demand for it in conjunction with IPA is
yet another thing that we would to address in couple years when this
demand actually materializes.

But if you have any ideas or suggestions we can definitely discuss them
here.
