Unrelated issue with ltsp-vmclient - breaks kvm windows machines

I have a WinXP kvm machine that I had not used since installing ltsp5
packages.
The k12linux-temp kvm-63-2.fc8.x86_64.rpm package breaks the video and
network emulation under XP. It works fine if I roll back to the
kvm-60-3.fc8 package in updates.

There does not seem to be any way that libvirt can choose the e1000
model and I have no idea what is wrong with the console video which only
works with 16 colours and 640x480.

There was some issue with rtl8139 with ltsp-vmclient in the initial
documentation so it was set to use e1000.
