[K12OSN] Can't see internet on fresh 4.2.0 install

Darn.  I was hoping this would fix it for you.  I have a box that has
the exact same problem.  Running 3.x no problems at all, switched to 4.x
and I couldn't get to the internet and had the same network unreachable
error.  Adding the acpi=off worked fine for me.
