The file that vanished was /etc/gtk-2.0/gdk-pixbuf.loaders.

I'll be testing the update process again later tonight.

I also hope to have full test of the x86_64 version this weekend. As a
side note, the google earth for linux crashed immediately on my dual
opteron machine. I have not tested with a 32 bit machine yet.

There are other things that are python related that are broken after
that first update. The network config gui won't run. I don't recall if
there was a library update in the process or not. I do recall that most
of the post-install scripts failed. Unfortunately, I don't have a list
of what was getting updated. Hmm. I'll check the yum logs.
