Are you using more than one Pulp host? If so, are they all using the
same database instance, or do they each have their own? It sounds like
your task worker isn't using the same database that your web server is
using.

Another way I can imagine that this would happen is if you were using
Nodes, and you configured the same message broker for the parent and the
child.
