[rhn-users] NIS+ & EL3 Problems

All,

Has anyone successfully implemented NIS+ client on EL3(WS)? I am having
strange problems with my installation where I can authenticate as a
NIS+ user, however, the automounter is not mapping my /home directory
properly.

When I run autofs, I get:

[root at durango init.d]# ./autofs status
Configured Mount Points:
------------------------
/usr/sbin/automount /home nisplus auto_home.org_dir

Active Mount Points:
--------------------
/usr/sbin/automount /home nisplus auto_home.org_dir

I have a NIS+ client sucessfully running on an EL2.1(WS) client, but I
have been comparing all the files and found no differences. In this
instance, the output of autofs reveals:

[root at mothra init.d]# ./autofs status
Configured Mount Points:
------------------------
/usr/sbin/automount /home yp auto.home.org_dir

Active Mount Points:
--------------------

I have tried setting automount to use yp on the EL3 client, but this
doesn't make a difference. Any help or direction would be greatly
appreciated!

Thanks,
Doug
