[rhn-users] Server goes to "sleep". E-mail, web won't respond.

Hi again,

I have figured out how to use tcpdump but I have a question that I hope
someone can answer.

Does tcpdump report the packets that are coming into the computer before
the computer does anything to the packets (ie. drop them)? By this I
mean, does tcpdump show the packets before the firewall gets them or
some other program gets them (and filters some packets out)?

Thank you for the help,

Rob
